I wake up every morning and go straight to my nutrininja. The way I look at it, if you fuel your body with tons of great nutrients right off the bat, your body in turn will reward itself by giving you sustainable energy for the day. Green smoothies are a great way to sneak in servings of healthy greens in a tasty smoothie package. The avocado adds creamy texture as well as healthy fats, while the spinach is all about that iron. The coconunt water adds electrolytes to help replenish your body to keep it going strong in your group fitness classes! Too thick? Add more liquid.

Avocado Banana Smoothie
- 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 avocado (ripe, halved pitted and peeled)
- 1 cup coconut water
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until rich and creamy.
- This mixture fills two large glasses.
